Food Pantry

On Sunday, February 5^th we will be serving a buffet luncheon of soup and sandwiches.  Please bring a soup for our Little Red Box.  We will be making Valentine cards for our homebound

The Norton Food Market  (pantry) is now open on Norton Road to serve those in need. We are accepting donations of canned vegetables and fruit, personal hygiene products, and toilet paper. Volunteers to assist patrons would also be appreciated. Items may be placed in the box near the elevator. For further information, please see Bill or Marie. Please bring in a can of soup to add to our growing inventory is the plan. Proceeds to go to the LSS Food Pantry for replenishment.

We’re collecting SOUP for the LSS Food Pantry. Please bring the
soup (prefer cans) to the inside bin at church or a collection bin located in Rehbecks’ carport. Last

year we collected almost 1000, let’s do our best to help out. Thank you.

It’s time to collect school supplies for area elementary schools. Collectible items include crayons, paper, pens, pencils, glue, etc. Place your donations in the large box or on the cart. Thanks in advance for your usual wonderful response to this worthy cause! We will be collecting items through August 17th. Questions should be asked to Bill and Marie

We are once again collecting soup for the LSS Food Pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the top of the stairs. We are hoping to surpass our collection from last year!

Distribution from the LSS Food Pantry, Westside has now been moved to Glenwood Community Center, 1888 Fairmont Avenue, Columbus. To schedule online, use the website and select a date available at www.Issfoodpantries.Issco.volunteerhub.com. It also contains a description of duties. In addition, a phone number to call is 740-205-6517.

Has moved their serving location to Glenwood Rec. Center, 1888 Fairmont Avenue. The new schedule there is Tuesdays 1pm-4pm and Fridays 11:30-2:30pm. If there are any questions on the new procedure, directions and/or a contact number to volunteer, please see Bill or Marie (878-2562).

It’s getting closer to back to school time so we’ll begin our annual collection of paper, pencils, glue, rulers, etc. to donate to the four area elementary schools and LSS Food Pantry. Donations may be placed in the collection box near the elevator.

Items collected were delivered and gratefully accepted. The Mission’s leader reported that the project had 15 participants and more events are planned (some of the artwork created will be posted). Especially needed are boxes of crayons, paint supplies, adult scissors, pens and markers. Also please continue saving newspapers, magazines, etc. as they’ll serve a better purpose!
