Bell Choir

The Saint Paul Bell Choir is a growing, vibrant group of families and friends that gather each Sunday at 8:00 a.m. to rehearse and perform from September through June. A wide variety of ages and abilities make up this growing group of ringers as we contribute to worship at Saint Paul Lutheran Church using a three octave set of Malmark Bells. We contribute to worship at Saint Paul by providing liturgical, seasonal music once a month or more often if needed.

Reading of music is encouraged but not required. Musical growth is developed as we learn new music that incorporates various bell techniques; we discuss musical form, melodic lines, style and interpretation of each piece that we learn.

In addition to playing at Sunday worship services, the Saint Paul bell choir has played outdoors at the church picnic and at other churches for community worship services. To learn more, have a look here.

If you are interested in bell choir membership please join us, but remember that once you join we need you to attend rehearsals and performances, as each ringer is a very necessary member of this group.

Please contact Mary with any questions.
