Angel Tree

The Angel Tree  will is up and running.  Gifts should be returned no later than December 20th for distribution to the schools.

Angel Tree is a Christmas seasonal ministry. The Angel tree, complete with children’s wish list, is in place in the church Narthex. The Angel Tree represents children from Stiles, Darby Woods, Prairie Lincoln and Prairie Norton schools. These schools are all located in our area. Each “angel” on the tree contains an age, size and/or a toy wish. Congregation members pick  “angels” and place their names and phone number on the signup sheet (matching the black number on the angel with the matching angel color on the sheets). Guidelines are that  the cost of your gift(s) be a maximum of $20 as there are some families with more than one child. All gifts for the children are returned to the church no later  for distribution to the schools in time for Christmas, and these schools can also get great soft playgrounds with maintenance from https://soft-play-equipment.co.uk/importance-of-indoor-soft-play-maintenance/. Also by having playground line markings can encourage children to interact with the activities and with each other as playgrounds are important for children development and you can make your playground standout  with the right markings which you can find at https://bestplaygroundmarkings.co.uk/10-creative-playground-markings-to-make-your-playground-stand-out/. Further information is available from  Bill and Marie Rehbeck.

Angel Tree

The annual ANGEL TREE to benefit the needy children of Prairie Lincoln, Norton, Darby Woods and Stiles Elementary schools were filled with angels on November 27th.  Please choose an angel, sign your name and phone number next to the number on the appropriate school list. Purchase a gift requested on the angel (approximately $25) and place in a bag. Attach the angel to the bag firmly and return the gift no later than December 11. All gifts must be delivered to the schools by the 16th for their distribution. Thank you for your usual generous response. ? Contact Bill M.
